Well, it’s been close to 4 years since my last trip to Malawi. Some of the memories have faded, but others are ingrained in my heart & my brain and it truly seems as though it happened just yesterday.
In 2011, you’ve helped raise over $10,000 and every penny was sent directly to our friends there helping fund a transformation to help villages become self sustaining. I’ve seen it with my own eyes the lives being saved and the works being done. We are so grateful!
For me, my love for Africa still remains strong. Though it’s been difficult to find another opportunity for a trip, I am finding opportunity to continue in my own calling to help encourage, inspire and empower those around me to do more, to be more and to give more through sharing my stories.
I am running 26.2 miles to raise funds for clean water in Africa. Did you know that $50 will provide clean water for one person for a lifetime? It’s amazing what a $50 can do. It can literally save a life.
People ask me why. My simple answer is this…it’s for the kids I hugged and for the people I met. I want them to have access to clean water. I want them to not get sick I want them to reach their dreams and their hopes…and we can make this happen.
I’ll do the running, you can click on the button below and donate directly to this amazing cause.
Thank you!!
