I am a 40 something speeding through life trying not to look back but to embrace every opportunity and stop to smell every rose that leans out at me.  I currently started a new company www.ezbos.com which supports small business’ back office from marketing to websites to videos to accounting..etc.  Along with www.kitchenkow.com and www.blinkphotography.co

I am a graphic artist, website designer, videographer, photographer and entrepreneur.  I am passionate about creating a company that uses my skill sets to help other companies to grow.

With my Civil Engineering background, I landed a job straight out of college with my Computer Aided Design skills, working for a Manufacturing Company.  This fed my passion for creative design with their very sophisticated 3D solid modeling software, however, being isolated in my engineering cubicle made me realize I needed more human interaction in my job.  I then took a chance at an opening as an Industrial Engineer.  This developed and grew my communication and management skills, as well as opened my eyes to how a large corporation operated.  I was in charge of providing solutions for inefficiencies and implementing ideas and goals to bring the costs down.  My success in this role eventually led me to upper management, in charge of a large Technical Service Department and managing 500+ independent service agencies throughout the country.

However, I soon started to realize that my desire to start something on my own exceeded the stability of working for a large corporation.  I knew this would be a huge risk, but I really wanted to step out.

This started our adventure.  My wife and I packed up our lives and our two little ones and moved to the beautiful beaches of  Southern California where we dreamt of living.  Was it the best decision we’ve ever made?  Looking back now, YES!!  It was a hard transition time, but we branded, developed and grew three education companies from scratch. We successfully sold one and my wife is running the other one currently.   I decided to go back into the workforce and dedicated the last 8 years of my life learning, growing and running a small company as the General Manager/Sales.  I am now stepping out again on my own to start my own company, doing what I am good at, something that I love, and something that gives me a sense of purpose and helps others.

This is where the adventure begins…a mid-lifer, jumping forward towards the second half of my life, trying to figure it as I go and blogging my thoughts along the way.  Thanks for reading and please feel free to comment.
